BB-8 Hat
By the time I finished Zach’s R2D2 Hat, I was so excited to make myself a BB-8 one, I started it the same day. HanDIY’s videos for the BB-8 Hat and Embellishments are just as great as the R2D2 videos.
To make the hat, I used the same yarn as the R2D2 hat, a Turkish brand of yarn, Kartopu Zambak, which is similar in weight to Red Heart Super Saver 100% Acrylic Yarn.
Just like HanDIY’s tutorials for R2D2, there was no written version other than headings during the videos, so below is the transcribed tutorial, with minor changes that I made for the hat to fit me. I do not own and did not create this pattern, but it belongs to HanDIY Tutorials.
Short videos to assist with the stitches in the pattern can be found here: magic circle, sl knot and ch, dc, sl st
